About the Founder
Tijuana "TJ" Vann founded A.R.I.S.E. Youth Mentoring, Corp. with a clear purpose: to empower young people and families with the tools, mentorship, and support needed to rise above life's challenges and walk confidently into their future.
As a mother, mentor, and community advocate, TJ understands firsthand the importance of guidance, leadership, and positive influence in the lives of young people. Her journey has been shaped by resilience, faith, and a deep desire to break cycles that limit growth and opportunity.
TJ created A.R.I.S.E. to be more than just a mentoring program. Her vision is to build a transformative community where youth are equipped with leadership skills, emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and the confidence to pursue their purpose.
Through initiatives such as A.R.I.S.E. Young Kings, A.R.I.S.E. HER, and the Parent Leadership Program, TJ is committed to developing strong young leaders while also empowering families to grow together.
Under her leadership, A.R.I.S.E. Youth Mentoring continues to grow as a movement dedicated to helping young people achieve resilience, intelligence, self-confidence, and excellence.
